The spicy Soppressata di Calabria DOP is a typical salami of the Calabrian gastronomic tradition.
Made with lean ham and pork lard, cream of Calabrian chillies and medium cut black pepper, it is stuffed into natural casings and tied by hand, just like in the past.
In order to be called Soppressata DOP, it needs at least 45 days of seasoning.
Its aroma is distinctive of the spices that compose it; on the palate it will conquer you with its complete, spicy and spicy aroma.
The soppressata is rich in noble proteins and also provides a fair share of mineral salts and vitamins. Among the mineral salts is potassium, zinc, phosphorus and sodium; while among the vitamins the one that stands out is B1, useful for energy metabolism.
