Ruby red colour, light garnet hint. Elegant and delicate nose, expressed on notes of cherry and plum, dark spices and tobacco. Splendid entry into the mouth, intense, complex, articulated. The lively tannins accompany an important savory background and contrast the generous softness, directing a tasting of spectacular breadth and flavour, as only great reds can do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Throughout the meal, it goes well with red meats, noble poultry, roasts, braised meats, meat stews, game and mature cheeses.<\/p>\n

A legendary wine, among the most famous and awarded Italian reds, San Leonardo represents the magical result of a tradition that is defined throughout the world as the “Bordeaux blend”. A symbiosis of dream and tradition, it is a wine capable of uniquely transmitting the character and charm of the identity of the territory in which it is born.<\/p>\n

Its journey began in the early 80s and since then it has always and only been produced in those vintages considered exceptional, for this reason vintages such as 1984, 1989, 1992, 1998 and 2002 were skipped.<\/p>\n
